    How does it work?

    SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics)

    SVG is a vector format: the image is described by shapes (lines, curves, text) rather than pixels. It stays perfectly sharp at any size, making it the ideal format for logos and icons on the web. Many office programs, social networks and printing services, however, only accept pixel images.

    PNG (Portable Network Graphics)

    PNG is a lossless format: every pixel is kept exactly. It supports transparency, making it the reference for logos, screenshots, diagrams and images containing text. For photos, however, it produces large files. It can be read everywhere.

    SVG or PNG: which format should you choose?

    Keep SVG on your website and as a source file: it stays sharp at any size and often weighs just a few kilobytes.

    Export to PNG when the destination only accepts pixel images: social networks, office software, messaging platforms, mobile apps, favicons. Choose the exact width you need: transparency is kept.

    How does the conversion work?

    1. Drop your SVG files in the area provided, choose them or paste an image: several files at once if you like.
    2. Adjust the options if needed: they apply to every file in the list, which are converted again automatically.
    3. Download each PNG file, or all of them at once in a ZIP archive.

    The conversion takes place in your browser. For your information:

    • The real format of each file is checked from its content, not its extension.
    • The vector drawing is rendered at the chosen width, keeping its proportions. Any external resources (fonts, linked images) are not loaded.

    A logo for a profile picture

    Your SVG logo (6 KB, 200 × 200 viewBox) needs to be used as a profile picture. With a width of 800 px, you get a perfectly sharp, transparent 800 × 800 px PNG of about 35 KB.

    12 SVG icons are exported in one go with a width of 256 px: 12 transparent PNGs of about 4 to 8 KB, ready to drag into your slides.

    Frequently asked questions

    What width should I choose?

    The final display width, multiplied by 2 for high-density (Retina) screens: a logo displayed 200 px wide should be exported at 400 px. The height is calculated automatically from the drawing’s proportions.

    Is my SVG’s transparent background kept?

    Yes, PNG keeps transparency: only the drawn shapes are opaque.

    Why does the text in my SVG show in a different font?

    If the SVG uses a font that is not installed on your device, or loaded from the Internet, a fallback font is used. In your drawing software, convert the text to outlines before exporting.

    Why do some parts of my SVG not appear?

    For your security, the SVG is rendered as an image: images linked from the Internet, scripts and animations are not run. Embed images directly in the SVG file if you need them.

    Are my SVG files uploaded to a server?

    No. The conversion runs entirely in your browser, on your device: your files are never uploaded, stored or viewed by anyone. You can check this in the “Network” tab of your browser’s developer tools: no file appears there. Metadata (GPS location, camera, date) is also removed from the converted file.
